Bringing cats and dogs to Australia is permitted provided they meet strict Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (ASIC) requirements (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry) prior to entering Australia. Some of the conditions which must be met may take considerable time to complete and it is therefore advisable to make enquiries at the same time as making enquiries for your migration to Australia. For information on quarantine and other requirements for bringing your pets to Australia see: www.daff.gov.au/aqis/cat-dogs
